Customs Duties, Taxes and Import Charges
For all orders shipped to countries outside the European Union, the Customer acknowledges that the goods may be subject, in the destination country, to customs duties, taxes, import duties, customs clearance fees, or any other charges imposed by the relevant customs and/or tax authorities.
All customs duties, taxes, import charges and other costs associated with the importation of the goods into the destination country shall be borne exclusively and entirely by the Customer, who shall be responsible for paying such amounts in accordance with the procedures and within the deadlines established by the relevant authorities, courier or carrier responsible for delivery.
The Seller shall not be held responsible for the amount of such charges, the manner in which they are applied, or for any delays, holds, or delivery issues resulting from the Customer’s failure or refusal to pay the applicable customs duties, taxes or other import charges.
Should the Customer refuse or fail to pay any customs duties, taxes or other charges required for the importation and delivery of the goods, or should the goods be unable to be delivered or collected for this reason, the shipment may be returned to the sender.
In the event that the goods are returned to the Seller due to the Customer’s failure to pay customs charges, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect the shipment, any storage, return shipping, re-shipping, handling or other costs directly arising from the failed delivery shall be borne by the Customer, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
